Training

The College of Veterinary Medicine strives to provide a safe working environment for all employees. The safety training outlined below should provide a basic level of training for all employees.

Training requirements for new employees, and current employees who need to renew training, can be found on the corresponding Initial or Renewal Safety Compliance Forms. Training must be renewed every three years.

Online basic safety training must be completed before the employee can begin work. This training is now conducted through the HSI/Vivid online system. If you are a new HSI/Vivid user and need an account, please fill out and submit this EHS registration form.

Completion of training must be confirmed by supervisor's signature on the Safety Compliance Form. Supervisors: Please do not sign the employee’s form until all training has been completed. This form, and certificates of training, must be filed with employee's records.
