Research Interests

We have studied the cellular mechanisms used by inner ear epithelia to create and maintain the unusual ionic composition of "endolymph" in the luminal compartment. Normal endolymph composition is essential for healthy hearing and balance. More information on laboratory techniques, publications and projects is available within these web pages.
