Externships

The College of Veterinary Medicine maintains a database of externship listings for students who are looking to build up their professional experiences prior to graduating with their DVM degrees.

A two-week-minimum externships provides professional students with the opportunity to study either with specialists or in unique areas of veterinary medical practice or research. Students are able to take as much of a role in daily activities at the facility as the practitioner deems appropriate.
