    This presentation will explore the role of diagnostic testing as a component of antimicrobial stewardship. Sources of pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical diagnostic errors and their impact on antibiotic stewardship will be discussed. The session will also include an in-depth discussion of applying antimicrobial susceptibility test results to patient management (highlighted by a clinical case).
